“Sunrise Organic Farm is the reincarnation of Spring Hill Organic Farm, located in Albany, Oregon. Sunrise is one of the best, if not the best, produce stands at the Saturday morning Portland Farmers Market at PSU. As its longtime customers know, before the market even has the chance to ring its 8:30 a.m. starting bell, dozens of regulars are already lining up, properly socially distancing, waiting to purchase Sunrise's truly excellent produce. We've been purchasing produce from this farm for years. We love all of their vegetables, and particularly their tomatoes, cucumbers, basil, eggplants, peppers, leeks, and their many varieties of lettuce and other greens. The quality of what they grow and nurture is simply outstanding. In operation since 1990, the farm is located in North Albany and is an Oregon Tilth Certified Organic (OTCO) farm. Set on forty-five acres, the farm specializes in vegetables, growing over sixty varieties for sale at farmers markets and co-ops. We have never been unhappy with any of their produce, and their customer service is outstanding and impressively safe during these challenging times. Sunrise is our first stop when we hit the PSU Saturday market. Super friendly people running the stand. Awesome produce. They have our loyalty and trust.”
